You will complete:
Four core mandatory units covering design solutions, professional practice, project investigation, and the preparation of drawings and schedules
One route-specific unit, depending on your pathway — Architecture (collating project information and preparing specifications) or Civil/Structural Engineering (planning, carrying out, and presenting measured surveys)
One optional unit chosen to reflect your role and career focus, such as condition surveys, project monitoring, tendering, energy efficiency, or conservation work
Assessment is based entirely on your workplace performance, using real evidence from your day-to-day responsibilities. This may include design drawings, project specifications, survey reports, planning documents, reflective accounts, professional discussions, and witness testimonies from colleagues or stakeholders.
