Kingdom Academy operates under the governance of the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), ensuring all our programmes meet strict funding rules and quality standards. This commitment ensures that our apprenticeships and training solutions deliver value, compliance, and excellence for both learners and employers.

Eligibility for Apprenticeships:

Your Job Role

Must be a new role or an existing one where you need significant new skills and knowledge to become fully competent.
Should allow you to gain broader workplace experience as part of your learning.
Must provide at least 20% of your paid hours for off-the-job training throughout the apprenticeship.

Requirements for Apprentices

To be eligible, you must:

Not be enrolled in another apprenticeship or a Department for Education-funded programme (FE/HE) at the same time.
Not contribute financially towards the cost of your learning or assessment.
Not use a student loan to pay for your apprenticeship.
Have the right to work in England and spend at least 50% of your working hours in England during the apprenticeship.

Residency Criteria

You must meet one of the following residency requirements:

EEA Citizen: Be a citizen of a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) or have the right of abode in the UK. You must also have been ordinarily resident in the EEA for at least three years prior to starting the apprenticeship.
Non-EEA Citizen: Have UK government permission to live in the UK (not for educational purposes) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.

Funding Eligibility

For an apprenticeship to qualify for funding:

It must provide significant new learning and development to achieve occupational competency.
The apprentice must spend at least 20% of their working hours on off-the-job training.

Our Programmes...

Our programmes have continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of the housing sector and beyond. From our early days, we focused on delivering high-quality training and apprenticeships, offering nationally recognised qualifications through accredited bodies like CIH, ILM, and CMI. As the sector developed, so did our offerings, with new and innovative qualifications that reflect the latest industry standards and regulatory changes.

In response to the growing demand for more specialised skills, we launched the Housing Passport in 2022, a unique qualification now widely adopted across housing associations and councils. In 2024, we further expanded our portfolio with exclusive CIH Accelerated qualifications at Level 4 and 5, providing more flexible pathways for professionals in the sector. We also became the first UK provider to offer the Senior Housing Manager L4 qualification, providing a new, portfolio-based approach that meets the evolving needs of today’s housing leaders. Our commitment to developing relevant and impactful programmes continues to grow, ensuring that professionals are equipped to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.
