The Site Management Safety Training Scheme is designed for site managers, project managers, and senior leaders who are responsible for creating and maintaining safe working environments. The course builds the knowledge and confidence needed to plan, monitor, and manage health and safety with clarity and consistency.
Through practical guidance and real site scenarios, you will explore key areas including current legislation, risk assessments, method statements, and recognised best practice for managing people, processes, and high-risk activities. The programme supports you to strengthen compliance, reduce incidents, and lead teams with a clear understanding of their responsibilities.
On completion, you will achieve an accredited SMSTS certificate that remains valid for five years, demonstrating your competence in managing health and safety at a senior level.
All CITB and industry safety courses can be delivered at one of our fully equipped training centres in Scotland or England, where you will benefit from modern facilities and a focused learning environment. If you are training a team, we also provide on-site delivery, allowing you to upskill groups at your own premises with minimal disruption to operations.
This course is ideal for those who want to embed strong safety culture, improve operational standards, and ensure every project runs safely and efficiently from start to finish.
