The SSSTS Refresher is a one-day update course for supervisors who already hold an SSSTS certificate and want to keep their knowledge current. It provides a focused review of key legislation, safe working practices, and the core responsibilities expected of first-line managers on site.

You will revisit essential elements of effective supervision, including risk assessments, method statements, communication of safety standards, and leading by example. The course also covers recent changes in industry guidance, helping you stay aligned with the latest compliance requirements and expectations.

By the end of the programme, you will have renewed confidence in delivering toolbox talks, monitoring team performance, and supporting a strong safety culture across your area of responsibility. Successful completion extends your SSSTS certification for a further five years.

This refresher can be completed at our fully equipped training centres in Scotland or England, or delivered on site for employers who want to update team members together. The format is designed to give you a clear, practical refresh without taking unnecessary time away from your role.
