Eligibility & Enrolment

Your learning journey begins with enrolment and induction. This stage is designed to ensure you’re fully prepared to start your apprenticeship with confidence. You’ll be introduced to the course structure, key milestones, and the support available throughout your journey. Your dedicated Kingdom Academy mentor will guide you through the induction, helping you set clear expectations for your learning experience.

Setting Your Personal Learning Goals

Once enrolled, you’ll reflect on your current leadership experience to set personal learning goals. This helps tailor your apprenticeship to your unique needs and career aspirations. Your mentor will work with you to identify areas for development and ensure your learning is relevant to your day-to-day role.

Progress Reviews & Mentoring

Regular progress reviews are a key part of your learning journey. These one-to-one sessions with your Kingdom Academy mentor will help you stay on track and ensure you’re progressing towards your goals. Your mentor will provide personalised support, addressing any challenges you may face and helping you make the most of your apprenticeship.

Gateway to End Point Assessment (Apprenticeship Assessment)

Once learners have met all the requirements, they will progress to the Gateway stage. This involves confirming that their portfolio of evidence and work-based project meet the required standards.

  • Completion of the CIH Level 4 qualification (recommended but not mandatory)
  • Evidence of assessment of Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and Englishh
  • Submission of a Portfolio of Evidence
  • Completion of a Work-Based Project

End Point Assessment (Apprenticeship Assessment)

The End Point Assessment is the final stage of the apprenticeship, where learners demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and behaviours to an independent assessor.

  2. Portfolio Review – Demonstrating competency across the apprenticeship standards

The course covers key areas such as housing law, finance, customer engagement, and community involvement.

This programme is ideal for professionals in senior housing roles or those looking to step into leadership positions. Suitable job titles include:

It is also suitable for those managing teams or overseeing key housing services in both the public and private sectors.

The apprenticeship is delivered through a blended learning approach, combining interactive workshops, one-to-one mentoring, and practical application in the workplace. Learners will also complete off-the-job training through e-learning modules, projects, and assignments, with regular progress reviews by a Kingdom Academy mentor.

These modules are designed to help learners develop leadership skills, navigate housing regulations, and improve service delivery within their organisations.

The apprenticeship typically takes 20 months to complete, with 17 months of learning and development followed by a 3-month Apprenticeship Assessment period.

There are no prior qualifications are required to enrol in the apprenticeship.

The End Point Assessment is the final stage of the apprenticeship, where learners demonstrate their competency to an independent assessor. The Apprenticeship Assessment consists of:

  • A Work-Based Project assessed by the End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO)
  • A Portfolio of Evidence showcasing the learner’s knowledge, skills, and behaviours
  • A 45-minute Professional Discussion with an Apprenticeship Assessment panel

Learners must complete a work-based project and compile a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates their practical knowledge and skills in managing housing services, leading teams, and handling tenant and community challenges.

Learners will receive ongoing support from a dedicated Apprenticeship Training Co-ordinator (ATC) at Kingdom Academy. The ATC will provide personalised mentoring, feedback, and advice to help learners succeed throughout their apprenticeship.

Yes! The course is available for both individual learners and closed cohorts for organisations. A minimum of 10 delegates is required to run a closed cohort, which allows for tailored delivery to meet the specific needs of the organisation.

Upon successfully completing the apprenticeship and passing the Apprenticeship Assessment, learners will achieve the Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship. Additionally, learners may pursue a CIH Level 4 qualification in Housing, which is highly recommended to complement the apprenticeship.

After completing the Level 4 apprenticeship, learners can progress to more senior roles, such as:

  • Housing Manager
  • Assets Manager
  • Neighbourhood Manager

They may also pursue further qualifications, including the Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship or other leadership programmes.
