CITB Training Courses

Understanding CITB and ECITB Accreditation

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is the industry body for the construction sector in Great Britain. CITB works with employers to support skills development, set industry standards, and ensure training meets legal and safety requirements. Many construction roles require a CITB-accredited course to meet compliance standards or qualify for certain cards, such as the CSCS card.

The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is the skills, standards, and qualifications body for the engineering construction sector. ECITB courses focus on specialist safety and technical training for engineering environments, ensuring workers meet both industry and legislative requirements.

At the heart of both organisations’ work is the safety and wellbeing of people – making sure everyone on site has the skills, knowledge, and awareness to work safely, protect others, and maintain a safe, productive working environment.

By choosing Kingdom Academy for your CITB or ECITB training, you’ll gain nationally recognised qualifications that demonstrate your competence, compliance, and commitment to safety.
